How to change connecting as portable device (touch not working)

so, yesterday i cracked my screen on nexus 7 and digitizer is not working anymore...
i want to transfer my files to pc.
how can i connect nexus as PORTABLE DEVICE when i can't change MTP and PTP connections?

No. DS3 uses USB, the DS2 has that proprietary connector.

Thank you, I just wanted to ask that. Problem solved, I'll use controller or mouse...to bad screen replacement is soo expensive. Well, guess I just want my pictures on safe.

I didnt try the mouse but i tried PS3 controller and it works like a charm.
PS3 controller has inbuilt battery so it can power itself to operate. since mouse wont have external power source i am not entirely sure.
but looking at the support page, looks like mouse will work
