Hi guys, I made Polaris Office my default pdf reader by mistake, but because it doesn't seem to read pdf's, I need to change it to Adobe Reader. I can't figure out how to do this. I've tried resetting factory data a few times, but didn't work. Thank you in advance!

Go to SETTINGS, APPLICATIONS, POLARIS OFFICE and down at the bottom of the right side of the page click on CLEAR DEFAULTS.

That should take care of the problem.

Thanks for your reply extraclass. I haven't been able to resolve the issue because Polaris doesn't appear in APPLICATIONS even though I have the app, and the apps that are there, their CLEAR DEFAULTS buttons are sort of misted over, unable to be pressed, if that makes sense.

See all applications you can find polaris I had this problem now solved.... what he says is correct only thing to find polaris under application ...then search for all

I got the same problem. And it didn't work. Besides, I can't find the downloaded in Polaris office after I swiped out the notification. So I want to set Adobe reader as my default app!

Under application manager, in 4.2.2, swipe 3 times to the right. Scroll down until you see Polaris. Click it and hit clear data. Done. Hope this helps. :-) :-) :-)

Hello.... I need help with my Samsung tablet. It opens my downloads as a htm and not a pdf. I did clear the data from the Polaris office and get the pop up to ask which application and responded to just once. I have tried and cannot get it to work again. I have uninstalled both adobe and Polaris office multiple times and no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
