How to change Menu icons from List view to Gridview in Nexus 6?

Icons in the menu were displayed in 2 pages earlier. But all of a sudden it changed to List View. I think some buttons were pressed when it is in my pocket. Please help

Same issue with me in moto G2.. From today evening the menu options changed from grid to list view..
I just checked and its because of the recent Google update.. I hope they provide an option to change the grid and list view...

To gain the old version(list view to grid view)
uninstall the Google now lancher 4.4
And use Google now lancher 4.3
I did it for my moto g

Welcome to Android Central.

You may be unable to uninstall it, but you can download and install another launcher from the Play Store. When you open it, you will be instructed how to set that as the default launcher.
