Android Central Question

I connected to a wifi that I use and a windows popped up asking if I wanted to disconnect from this unsecure network. I accidentally clicked yes and ticked for it to remember my choice. Now when I connect to the wifi it automatically turns it off. How can I reverse this on Samsung Note 8 mobile.

I have the same question and cannot find an answer anywhere! I'm at a friend's house for several days and cannot connect to their WiFi again after I accidently clicked disconnect when it warmed me about an unsecured connection. Help please. How do you reverse that mistake?

I've reset the network settings and I did this and nothing changed. I just lost every password in memory and all of the networks that my phone used to know by default which is really annoying. I wish someone actually had an answer for this.

I refuse to believe the only way to get this to work is to factory reset my phone. I'm not confident that would work either since this may be tied to my google account and the setting may come back when setting the phone up again.

What I don't understand is if this is an Android issue, a Samsung issue since I am on an S7 or if it is a Verizon issue. Whose crappy software is this?

PS: no, clicking forget network does not help. resetting all network and bluetooth settings does not work.

I found the answer. After putting my phone into safe mode I found that this issue went away. So I starting searching for all apps running actively after rebooting. I found a Verizon app called Security and Privacy. This app was doing it. You can unblock sites with it or you can do like I did and just disable the app. I'm good to go now.
