How to change the launcher on amazon fire HD 8

I downloaded Google now launcher and Nova launcher but when I click to open it it says go to settings go to home and change the launcher but the thing is there is no home option in the settings

This will let you install a Launcher Hijack. Again, follow the directions exactly.

Nova works good with this, but won't let you install widgets. Google Now Launcher will let you use widgets, but seems sluggish in comparison.
