I just bought a new Android, rooted it with GingerBreak and then Flash Image GUI. Then I installed Groove IP on it. Next, I tested and successfully called out from this new phone. (I do not have any carrier for this Android--I am using the free WiFi instead!)
I do not want to signup with any carrier, but instead to use the free WiFi. Only problem is that when I called out it used a different phone number: the phone number listed on my Google Voice account. So now when people try to call me it goes to this different phone number. This means I can call out, but I cannot receive calls on this Android. And I do not see how to edit the phone number on my Optimus even though I have Superuser now. So how do I enter one of the phone numbers I received from ipkall into GV and then into my Android (LG Optimus V).
