How to change the system language from Chnese to English

I have bought a new smartphone (Huawei Honor 8 Lite) & new tab (Huawei honor pad 2)from China. I've changed the language to English but the operating system itself is running in Chinese; how can i change the operating system language itself to English.

Hello! I have the exact same problem as the AC. The keyboard and settings are in English. Other areas are also, such as parts of the apps etc.
Everything else is in Chinese. Everything. I am so wrapped up in work, I cannot possibly find the time to become fluent in Mandarin, too.
Can you suggest a possible answer?

Welcome to Android Central! You have the same phone? Chances are that the phone was intended for the Chinese market, and therefore has Chinese firmware. Depending on the phone, there might be a way to flash a different firmware, but that will probably require rooting.
