How to clear calendar contents?

Hi, SG8 on Verizon using stock apps for email and calendar. How do I clear the calendar app so it has to sync again? It somehow created each event 5 times so I want to clear everything and resync. Tia

Go to Settings>Apps, and tap Menu>Show System. Is there a Calendar Storage app? If so, clear the cache/data from that, as well as from the main Calendar app. Now open Calendar again and wait for it to resync.
