How to compress video?

I understand. But now the problem is how I'm supposed to share. When it tried to share file via Dropbox it restricted sending any file exceeding 300 mb. That's why I opted for Google Drive, later turned out it can only be shared with Google users.

I was not aware of the size limitation - sorry.
If WinRAR is anything like WinZip it'll allow you to break the compressed file up into multiple chunks, and you can specify the size of the chunks. That sounds like your only option - you'd have to provide multiple links.
Or maybe one of the other cloud services (Box, SugarSync, etc.) has a higher filesize limit.

The simple solution is to upload the video to youtube (over wifi so you don't incur bandwidth charges), make it private, and send your friend the link.

Gorzirra, thanks for your valuable post but the lady I have send to wants things simple and plain. And since the files I have to send her is a of great value uploading on Youtube and then making it private could be lil too much for some people not for me. But i liked your idea and next time I Wil use it if I ever need to somebody else.
