How to configure IMAP setting for xfinity connect app

I have xfinity connect on my Samsung Note 4, but it seems to be behaving as if it's POP3. There is no way to configure settings after downloading the app. It's all automatic. Do you know if it actually is POP3? If I send an email from my phone, it does not sync with my other devices, but other email apps all sync fine.

Go to https://login.xfinity.com/login and look around the email pages and settings to see what your account is set to. The app just uses what the server is set to, it can't change the server settings.
