How to copy text from SMS

Hi!
For example, I want to copy ONE WORD from sms.
But, when i do long touch on the SMS, i see this menu (attachment), and i can to copy FULL message text.
Double, triple clicks dont work!
How ?? )))

Welcome to Android Central! It just sounds like a limitation based on how the messaging app is designed. It's the same for Hangouts as well. You could copy the whole message text, then paste it into a notepad or Google Keep note, then copy the single word from there.

Have you found way to select word 10 months later?

I miss my iPhone, Android has lot of small things which do not work. other is why I cannot copy phone number just pressing it?
And sending video, is it so hard to code auto resize option in to the email program. And and.. But please, can you tell me how to select one word on dms app? I know some Samsung phones can do it. I have Sony Xperia z3 which is full of small bugs. But I think this phone is for teenagers, I can get hello kitty and spiderman theme. Thank you Sony.
