How to customise widgets on the Lock screen? Can I change the clock entirely?

Hi all,

I have a Clock/Weather widget that I really like from Weatherzone app (it uses a much more reliable source of weather data than the default one). Is it possible to change the clock/weather widget used on the lock screen? Is the lock screen customisable to that level?

(I'm assuming it's not possible to change the source of data that the default weather/clock widget uses?)

There's an app called Widget locker that replaces the lockscreen and allows you to add widgets.

Yes, widget locker is the way to go. It is not free, but costs like 2-3 bucks. Worth it I guess if you are going to stick with it for the remainder of your phone's lifecycle. It allows you to customize any widget you want on the lock screen. Enjoy.
