How to delete ALL S Planner entries

Hi all
Due to the recent problems with no Sync feature in Kies3, I've had to temporarily resort to using other Apps to sync my S Planner calendar with Microsoft Outlook.
Today Samsung have returned Sync to Kies3, which is great, however...

During my use of one particularly rubbish app (that shall remain unnamed), I now have duplicate entries in S Planner for every single event. Is it possible to completely clear the S Planner calendar so that I can re-sync fresh from my PC using Kies3? I've tried deleting the calendar but it won't let me delete My Calendar.

Try going into Settings>Application Manager>swipe to the right to All Apps>scroll to both S Planner. Click delete data, and clear cache. That should work.

Go into S Planner, display the calendar in full year format. Hit the soft menu button (the one on the left of the main apps button), choose Delete, and it will give you the option to delete all entries for the year. (I know this response is month's late, but I couldn't find the solution when I googled it either so figured I'd share!)

Hi,
What about the auto complete data in the S Planner? Can we clear them? Most of those data are past entries which I've deleted. For example, I've deleted 'call mom', 'call dad' and 'call Melvin' because I've done them. And when i want to insert an entry starting with 'call', the auto complete drop down menu shows all the past entries which I've deleted. How do i delete those in the auto complete drop down menu?

I have a Samsung Note 5, running 5.1.1
Kindly assist me to clear the S Calendar entirely. Unnecessary accounts are visible under S Calendar, i don't just want to deselect them but delete / remove everything.
I have tried the following:
1. S Calendar, More, Manage accounts - i can't find an option te delete account
2. Settings, Applications, All, S Calendar, Clear data & clear Cache - it did not remove anything from the calendar

I used side sync and smart switch to swap from my Samsung S5 to the note 5. That is why some of the accounts and calendar entries are duplicated.
I just spend 30 minutes on the phone with the Samsung help desk and though the guy was very friendly he could not resolve my issue. He suggested i backup the device and master reset everything and restore but not the email accounts or calendar and set those up manually. That sounds to risky to me, surely the software should allow to remove the content.
It would be great so clear everything and start over completely. PLEASE HELP ME!

OK - just got an S7 and thought it would be like the S III in terms of syncing with my PC's Outlook calendar and contacts. After I used Smart Switch to transfer all the data from my S III to the S7 I found that there didn't appear to be any way to connect the two. I found a product called Akruto that states categorically that their product will do this but you need to clear both the contacts and calendar on the S7 before initial sync to avoid double entries.

The problem is, while it is easy enough to delete all Contacts, there doesn't seem to be a way of deleting all the S Planner entries - even the guy in the shop I bought the S7 from couldn't figure it out short of putting the S7 back to factory settings and starting again.

Anyone found a solution to this problem on the S7?

Thanks for reading my tale of woe!

after so long of putting up with multiples of the same entries in the calendar i have figured out how to delete all calendar entries in one go.

applications> applications manager> all> CALENDAR STORAGE> clear data

only problem is that it will wipe ALL entries in the calendar so if there is any you want to keep you will most likely just have to re enter them.
hope this helps :)

I've got it for S7 Android 6.0.1: (no menu button anywhere!):
SYNC with "MyPhoneExplorer" from an PC and "MyPhoneExplorer Client" on Telephone (AppStore)!
1. Edit Options: Sync -> only with "MyPhoneExplorer" for Calender and tasks
2. Sync with your S7
3. open Appointments
4. click right on an appointment and select "Delete passed events"
5. SYNC with S7
6. mark all appointments still shown on desktop and delete
7. repeat several times til all deleted

I hope then it's done for all appointments. You can start new SYNC with Outlook or other with MyPhoneExplorer (F2 Settings)

Delete tasks: to be done in S Planner itself.
Good luck!

Thank you so much!

I've been literally years with this problem, first with a Samsung Galaxy S2 and then with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that I still currently use.

Thanks to this, I have finally solved it!

Samsung software is truly appalling (this is just the latest example that really has made up my mind to avoid Samsung products in the future as much as possible). There should really be an option in the S Planner app to edit/delete all of these annoying duplicates of events (birthdays) with notifications, that kept bothering me for years!

They are now all gone!

Thank you!! :D
