Can this be done manually in recovery or could I use ROM Manager? I'd rather avoid using ROM Manager and just do it myself, but whichever way works. I have about 5 nandroids right now and wanted to delete 2 or 3 of them. I'm keeping my first (stock) and most recent backups.

Just use Root Explorer/ES File Explorer...

Go into the ClockWorkMod folder on your sdcard/internal storage and look for the backup directory. Delete the ones you don't want.

You can use rom manager to delete them as well. What ever floats your boat. :D

1:- Go into nandroid folder then into the next folder H something
2:- In that folder will be all your nands named by date.
3:- Just delete whichever ones you don't need either via some root explorer app or Pc usb.

Fastest way would be to open Rom Manager and select manage backup/restore pick one of the backups you want to remove and then select delete it's easy and fast :)
