How to delete the address bar browsing history in the Android 4 stock browser?

Please help me, I already tried EVERYTHING. The stock browser won't let me delete the address bar history even after I went to the advanced settings and deleted the cache, browsing history, auto-form completion, cookies, etc. I already tried re-synching (and removed the option to export address bar history from my gmail account) but it somehow doesn't work, it accumulated the history from the first sync and it seems I can't delete that crap away. I don't want to do a factory reset because I spent a lot of time downloading and installing apps

Try Dashboard and delete web history?

long press on history and delete one by one, better to delete the history (that u dont want to keep) just after search.
