How to delete Twitter contacts from my phone book

[Android Central Question]

HTC-U11. Already tried account settings (discover/contacts) in Twitter but they're still in my phone book. Annoying, especially when searching through contacts.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Accounts​, select Twitter, then turn off the Contacts sync there.
