How to disable touch without turning off the screen?

I cracked the screen of my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 by accidentally dropping it on a concrete floor. The screen is no longer functional; it won't display anything; it's totally blank. But the touch screen and the phone itself still function.

So I purchased an MHL adapter to connect it to a LCD TV. The MHL adapter works perfectly. Everything is perfectly displayed on the LCD TV. The adapter even let me connect some USB keyboard and mouse to it. It is great; I can use the phone like a regular desktop PC.

But there is one little problem. The phone randomly touches itself along the cracks on the screen surface. It does this intermittently (like once or twice every 10 to 15 minutes).

Is there a way to disable touch without turning off the screen? thanks..
