Yes and still received a error, some kind of hangup on my new laptop

Hi figured it out ,1st off my laptop is a new Dell running windows 10 about 3 months old stock configuration, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't run a .exe file but here is what solved the problem for me.
Now smart switch is installed on my laptop

Error message: "Side-by-side configuration is incorrect"
The machine is missing the correct C++ runtime components for your type of system. (x86 or x64).
Installing the following update resolved the issue.
