How to do hand swipe for screenshot save?

I upgraded my phone and gallery app as well as routing and doing a clean wipe on my note 2.My screen capture hasn't worked for the past week.My problem was that when I did the clean wipe, it didn't restart with a "Screenshot" folder. After creating one, swept to capture works perfect again! My 2 cents.

the karate chop thing worked for me only when I oriented my hand vertically, from top/bottom, and then swiped from side to side. I was orienting my hand sideways, from side to side, and then swiping the same way, from side to side. But doing it that way, the phone cant tell if you're using just a finger or an entire hand, so it assumes you're using a finger (or S Pen) and functions appropriately. But placing your hand from top bottom (vertically) apparently can't be confused with anything else.

ohhhh Thanks! I wasn't touching the screen and couldn't figure out how to work this feature. Ive been trying for days. I feel like a dummy now.

When swiping across with karate chop style you need to press down hard as you swipe across.

I more often use the S Pen to capture screen shots: hold in the button on the S Pen then hold it to the screen till it captures! Works perfectly!

Yes I tried that heaps before I posted, but I'm not sure what the button to hold in means. If got a "fat stylus" that's made for the capacitive screen which doesn't have a button. Sorry I should have put that in. Plus iv got a Generic, made in China, tablet (MID ?), also a Samsung galaxy s2. So I might be in the wrong topic or thread. :-/
