Hi fellas,

I just got my N4 tonight! I am coming from an iPhone 4. This is my first android phone. I have a question about Kies via Wifi. Can it be done with the N4? If so, how? I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet with 4.0. Under wireless and networks there is a more settings tab. Kies via WiFi is listed there. I cannot find it on the N4.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Chief

Kies is proprietary Samsung software and only works with their devices. What are you trying to sync exactly? If you mean just transferring files, you could try try this: Android 102: Wireless file transfer | Android Central.

I use wifi file explorer pro cost $0.99 from google play store to transfer filles to and from my HTC Flyer, my gateway laptop, wifes Sony Viao laptop, my Samsung Galaxy Note10.1 and my wifes Sony S tablet.

There is a lite version that you can try but it only transfers data in one direction.

They work with any browser. When you run the app it gives you a URL to put into your browser so you can connect. I have no doubt it will work for my Nexus 4 when I get it also.
