How to download large apps or games?

Hey i am sorry if i am asking a silly question i am new to Android and this is my first tablet.

Kindly let me know how to download games like Asphalt 8 or FIFA because those are like more than 1GB of size.

Kindly help me as to how i can download such big games.

I want to pause and continue downloading in 2-3 days time without waking up or keeping the tablet on charging mode and downloading mode.

Please help :'(

You have to download in one shot. You can't do it over a period of 2-3 days.

Previous poster is right, you must do it in one go. If you've a decent wifi connection it shouldn't take long - takes about 8 mins for me to download a 1.5Gb film, why would you need to interrupt it?

Make sure you adjust your tablet's sleep time to a large number. Also, you can plug it in when you are downloading to ensure you have plenty of power and defeat any sleep settings associated with running under battery power only.

I am pretty sure the Play Store download (assuming that is where he is downloading from) will continue if the tablet goes into sleep mode. Mine always does.

Mine recently started to stop the download from the play store when the screen shuts off on time out, so I think jerrykur is correct.

My screen times out if I am updating a number of apps and there are no issues with losing the connection.

Is your wifi turn off when screen goes off??

Good point. I have mine set not to turn off during sleep. Go to settings/wifi/advanced.

No, I have wi fi set as always on.

Strange it should not cancel download. For me download is not cancelled when screen turns off.
