How to download widgets

I just got my Droid on Wed I have been trying to download a widget to silent my ringer I have been unable to do it I downloaded a battery widget with no problem. Now I can download but I can not add. what am I doing wrong

To add a widget press MENU BUTTON >> ADD >> WIDGET. Select the widget from the list.

after download I pressed menu but the add button is not highlighted

I don't think it has to be. Just press ADD >> Widget. I mean... If you are saying it's grayed out and it doesn't work that's another issue. As far as I know you should be able to press ADD and see the available options.

In the market search for beautiful silence and beautiful vibrate. they are both free and their widgets work

Can add be disabled if the screen does not have enough room.

My home screen was full when moved some apps add worked. Thanks
