How to edit mobile data configuration on my HTC One

Hi I bought an international version of the HTC One, but my 3G Mobile Data is not working and I cannot get it to connect. Is there a way to manually setup the configuration of this to see if I can get it to work?

Is it maybe my phone defective?

Is this phone on a US carrier, you may need a (new) SIM card.
