Hi Guys ,

I am searching for a software/app, which can enable 4k resolution for video recording on my lenovo k6 power. I have downloaded the paid version of Cinema FV-5 , using that, i was enable to set resolution as 4k for vedeo recording. However, when i inspected the recorded video details, it shows recorded as 1980 (full hd). Is there any way to enable 4k recording?

The phone is 1080x1920 - 2k, not 4k. You'd have to find a camera that fits the camera slot, connects to the same connector, and has 4k resolution. It would be cheaper to buy a 4k phone. (BTW, there's no way to see 4k on the phone, since the display is 2k, and even on a 4k phone you can't see the difference between 2k and 4k on a 5" screen.)

Did some digging, phone only supports 1080p video. Wondering why that is, I discovered the specs and found that the Snapdragon 430 in your phone can't handle 4k. It won't matter what software you install as the hardware can't support it.

I would assume it doesn't support it because the processor isn't powerful enough and that's why it's limited to 1080p, can only expect so much from an entry level device.
