How to enable an alarm when the phone is off ??

I understand the alarm will not go off when the phone is off. I was hoping to use the 'auto restart' feature to turn on the phone, say 7:00 AM, then have an alarm set at 7:30 AM, unfortunately Samsung had removed the auto restart feature.

So, is there a way to use the Alarm when the phone is off??

Samsung did not remove this feature (it's found in the Device Care section of your Settings under 'Auto optimization'). However, as the name implies, this only RESTART the device, not boot it up from an off state. There is no way to automatically start a device if it's turned off, at least not with software.

An option if you want to conserve power while still having the phone off is having an automation that will put your phone into Max Battery Saving mode during certain hours. This will respect Alarms and you can set up priority apps or calls/texts.

When the phone is off, alarms won't work. That auto restart idea was smart, too bad Samsung nixed it. Currently, there's no way to set an alarm that rings when the phone is off.

But you can keep your phone in sleep mode, save battery, and still get those alarm alerts. Just make sure to keep it charged for the morning wake-up. Happy snoozing and rising!
