Just in case you guys didn't know about this...
To enable developer options go to the "about" section and tap on the build number like 5 times. A prompt will pop up saying to tap a few more times. Then you'll see developer options at the bottom of the settings list.
There's a handy option there, at the very top: "Stay awake when charging". Most of the other options aren't that useful (yet).
