how to enable Wifi hotspot on a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 1545

hi my sister from San Diego came to visit me here in Hong Kong and gave me a SG s4 sch1545 from verizon., i was able to figure out how to make the local sim card work by manually inputing the APN. but my knowledge stops there. i cant seem to enable Wifi Hotspot tethering to share my mobile data with my other phones. not even the bluetooth tethering would work or usb. i hope someone can teach me how to enable those settings. i would very much appreciate it

Welcome to Android Central! The hotspot typically doesn't work if you're not on the same carrier that the phone was intended for, since using the hotspot requires a specific plan from the carrier, or an extra fee.
