I am a pretty heavy phone user. I am constantly texting or tweeting. I have my brightness on the lowest it can get. But after 8 hours, I am down to 15%... is that normal? Is there any way to lengthen the battery any since I normally can plug it in when it gets low.

turn your GPS off and change your Refresh rates on twitter app to every hour. No that's not normal. but if your screen is constantly on, like NEVER OFF, then that's normal.

My screen is like never off. If it is.. its for a short period of time. Do any of the battery apps work? Or is it just something I have to deal with?

Your screen will acount for about 75% of your battery. Best bet is to get the extended batery.

Battery apps don't work. Your best bet would be to change all apps you can (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) to manual refresh so they only update when you bed them to.

Also, get an extended battery. The Motorola one doesn't change the size of the phone any.

I've also found sticking to GB over CM7 or otherwise, has been better so far. :)
