How to factory reset an 18" android smart screeen

[Android Central Question]

I have an 18" smart screen that displays business ads. It definitely runs android and I can only interact with it using a remote control which looks similar to a firestick remote. The smart screen was made in China and only has a power button on the back. It does have a built in wifi adapter, SD card slot, 3 USB slots, an Ethernet port and a microUSB port as well. I want to know if there is a way to factory reset this device and have it operate more like an android powered TV than one that only displays ads. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! If you're able to access the system settings, then look for the model number under Settings>About Device. If not, then see if it's printed anywhere on the device (or the box, if you still have it).

The odds are that, unless you can port AOSP to the device, you're out of luck.
