How to fit more notification icons on the status bar

[Android Central Question]

Hi, I recently updated my Xiaomi Mi A3 phone from android 10 to android 11. And for some reason, I can have up to 2 notification icons on the status bar. If there are more than 2 notifications, a dot will be shown

Is there any way to fit more icons, WITHOUT ROOTING or flashing a custom ROM?

Maybe ADB could help?
If someone knows any solution please let me know

You should see in settings >notification>advanced > show all notification

This is example on my Samsung , see if it helps .
I circled it on my screen shot.

This feature is available only for samsung phones IIRC and I have a xiaomi. Isn't there any way with adb or something?

There's a limit baked into Android, for narrow screens such as on a phone it will only show a certain number before getting into "overflow". My Pixel 4a 5G only shows 4 icons, then has the dot for overflow.

Same for me, when I was on android 10. I could have up to 4 icons, and then it would show a dot. Now that I updated to android 11, i can only see 2 icons, instead of 4

Yes, I have and I haven't found anything. This is probably only for samsung phones, or just Xiaomi removed this feature

Might be that Xiaomi doesn't have this feature , if your looking for a mod to get this function maybe try xda forum
