Android Central Question

Whenever I download apps larger than 1GB, the download will stop at 95% saying "waiting for wifi" despite being connected to a fully stable internet connection. I tried switching to mobile data but to no avail. I have been suffering with this issue since then. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi , if you can make a account here me or other members can try to assist you.
Like to know if you tried anything?

Hi mustang! I tried downloading a file and apk from google chrome that is also above 1 gb and apparently it works. Same goes for other apo stores. It seems to be google play is the problem here. I tried many things from clearing cache to reinstalling playstore updates

Hi, ok you tried uninstalling the Google play update and updating again?

Yea it does. This is what frustates me the most because it wastes my data due to it stopping at 90 or 95%, and that's alot of data.
Yeah definitely understand, have you tried to reset app preference in settings>apps>3 Dots upper right hand corner tap and scroll to app preference reset it , and try resetting network connection also can be found in settings or type in settings search bar for either. Let me Know?

I tried just now. I will update you when I'll be downloading large apps again because i'll be on a trip and I'll be using data only so I'm saving it. Perhaps you could also leave me some other solutions to see if I have tried it or not? Thank you!

One other thing is look for Google play services in settings >app list clear cache ,data, force close it and if this step and others I mentioned don't work, factory reset your phone .
