How to force 3G?

Hi all, is there a way to force the phone to stay on 3G? The reason is that 4G coverage is terrible in the building I work in, but the phone is constantly trying to use it. Is there an app that has a widget that allows me to select different radios?

Download "Phone Info" for free from the Google Play Store. I don't think it gives you the ability to add a widget though. To enable 3G only connection Start the app then click on Device Information > from the drop-down menu select "CDMA auto (PRL)".

You're welcome. And if you need to switch back to the default setting from the drop-down menu within the app select "LTE/CDMA/EvDO".
