How to get audible Gmail notification?

When my browser is open, and an email comes in I do not get an audible notification. I only get the visible notification from Gmail. How do I get the audible sound?

Hi, long press Gmail app then tap info, scroll to notifications make sure sound enabled

Just to be clear -- are these emails coming through your Gmail app, or are you talking about notifications from a webmail interface in the browser?

Thanks for the help. I somehow had the sound notification for one of the Gmail accounts I have turned off. I guess I am getting sloppy in my senior years
