How to get Calendar Notifications to Last/Stay Longer

Is there a way to get calendar notifications to last like it did on the Note 4? On that phone, the notifications would stay about a week, but for some reason on the Note 7 it only stays a day or so. Is there a setting I'm missing?

I noticed the same problem with my Note 7 and S7 edge. Solution, I just switched to the BlackBerry calendar. It has a more streamlined interface and your notifications stay up well after the time has expired.

Can you sync the blackberry calendar with the Google calendar and transfer all the data? It would be very hard to give up as I've used Google since 2009.

Blackberry Calendar can sync with Google. All you have to do is select accounts within BB Calendar and input your Google account info. Just don't forget to disable notifications on your Samsung calendar so you don't get double notifications. I know this isn't the answer you wanted but I have not found a software solution to the disappearing notifications within the Samsung calendar. BlackBerry may be a dying hardware company, but their software is still made right.
