Hello all. First and foremost, thanks in advance to those who reply to my question and happy holidays.
I have the Kindle Fire HDX 3rd Gen. I love it and think its better than the iPads. To me the specs are way better.
Anyhow, one thing I don't like is not being able to download certain apps. The catalog of apps available from Amazon is great but there are apps that can only be downloaded by having Google Play Store. I know this device uses a variation of Android OS, exactly which one, that I don't know. But I would like to think that since it is running Android OS at heart, there's most likely a way to get Google Play Store to run on this device.
Anybody know if this is in fact possible? If so, is there some sort of tutorial available to follow to accomplish this?
Thank you all again and I look forward to your replies.
