How to get JB OTA updates to come back

Hello, I was running a rooted ICS on my Prime and I just unrooted it so I can get my JB updates. Does anyone know how I can get the OTAs to come back? Or do I have to sideload the updates somehow? I used to remember a method where you cleaned out the cache or stopped certain apps to reinitialize the firmware updates, but i don't recall how to do that.

Any help is appreciated.

I am guessing I have to return to stock ICS and then figure out how to get JB on the TP. Also have learned not to delete bloatware, but instead freeze each junk app so one is not left in the hole like I am.

I ended up doing a factory reset as I keep things simple on my tablet. But I still have no direct way to get OTA updates. I downloaded the JB update from the Asus download site, but attempting to install from a microSD card will not work for me because I am unable to get microSD cards into the slot. The metal is bent and the cards get stuck. I do have an SD slot and wonder if that will work.

It should work from the SD slot as well.
