How to get OTA updates on rooted Galaxy S6?

I used this website to get my S6 rooted.

I can't check for OTA updates as I am rooted. So how do I get future updates?
Also, if I unroot and factory reset my phone will this problem still occur? Mainly because I need to sell this phone in a couple months and I don't want the next person to receive this problem.

As far as updates, you can always flash an updated Stock ROM when it becomes available.

If you're looking to sell the phone, un-rooting is always an option.

Use Samsung's Smart Switch software. Click on "More" and select Emergency Software Initialization (or something like that). Then select the Device Initialization tab and click OK.

I have an S7 edge now, if I install stock ROM from Sam mobile will I get OTA updates?

I flashed stock ROM UK BTU firmware. Just waiting to get the update from Nougat now.

Hi I'm not rooted but a friend performed password recovery after os update trashed fingerprints and password unknown.

They used a dr fones or something. But now updates are not work as states unauthorised OS.

If I use smart switch , can I get supported OS back with no loss of data etc?
