how to get photos and music onto evo 4g

my computer will not detect my phone when i select it as a harddrive, why is this? i have a 16 gb minisd card in there, what am i doing wrong


also, so far the computer will not recognize it in any way, i even tried rooting it but it was in the wrong area under device manager, i would love to put vidoes/music/photos onto it, pls can anyone direct me on how to do this.

When you plug it in via usb, select media sync and you should now be able to browse it like an external drive. This is rather confusing and dumb if you ask me..

swipe down the menu at the top of the screen, touch the charge only and change it to disk drive.
