How to get rid if 'Data service is blocked.' message on Acer Liquid Z3 (Android 4.2)?

To begin with, I put in a SIM card in this phone without any data plan. I do not plan to use mobile data on the device (only Wi-Fi), since I put in the SIM however (to use it for more than just an iPod Touch), the annoying 'Data service is blocked.' message appeared. How to get rid of it?
