How to get rid of "recommended for you" from home page

Title says it all....how do I get rid of it??

I don't think you can in the play store,you just have to click on the sub sections and go around it.

It's difficult because it's so big, so downsize it by dragging the corners together then drag the entire thing off the top of the screen. It took me several times but it finally went.

If you are talking about the widget on the home screen, it works like any widget. Long-press on the widget until it looks like it is hovering and then drag it to the "remove" option that shows up in the centre-top of the screen.
