How to get rid of Visual Voicemail and go back to basic?

I am wondering if there is a way to get rid of or disable visual voicemail on my Turbo? It is getting annoying any time I get a voicemail and the phone tries to default me to visual voicemail instead of standard (non visual) voicemail.

Also, is it now the norm for voicemail messages to be "read" as to the exact time/date/length of the voicemail? Or is that a component of visual voicemail? My messages often take longer to "load" than to listen to the actual vm itself since it is telling me what day it was sent, what time, how long, etc

VVM has two options - Premium or Basic. The essential difference is the Premium (paid) version transcribes the 1st 45 seconds of the message where the free Basic version simply records the message for playback. I very much like the Basic version - it's instant with no login required & none of the extra steps of the legacy voicemail. When you delete messages from your phone it is synchronized with your VM account.

Disable the app and download an free voicemail app from store....that is what I did, works fine.
