		AC Question
I live in Canada. I want to buy Samsung's tablet Galaxy Tab S (10.5) LTE/4G international model, factory unlocked, for use on various GSM networks, worldwide using local SIM cards. A US internet retailer offers this tablet through Amazon
Canada' s 'Marketplace', and is saying all 'international' units have NO WARRANTY whatsoever. I contacted Samsung Canada and they said true, they only cover in-store purchases from their authorized dealers in Canada, which only sell units locked to one of the Canadian service providers. (Rogers, Telus, etc.) Nobody in Canada sells this "factory unlocked" tablet. There are third-party services which can unlock it for $50.-- but it will always have the original provider's info (Rogers, Telus) embedded in it's software, which I don't want.
Fact is: If I buy the unit I need, I have no warranty on it.
Any ideas/comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
