How to hard reset oppo a7

I tried to hard reset my oppo A7 but when I reached wipe data and cache it was locked. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

It was locked in what way? Was it requiring a PIN code to unlock it to wipe? Use your PIN code.

Welcome to the forums. That's not exactly a problem that needs to be fixed, that's the Recovery mode being locked to protect the encryption of your personal info. Enter your usual unlock system (PIN/Password) and then you'll get access to the Recovery menu.

That's very unfortunate. Without that password you won't be able to get into Recovery mode, sorry.

You could try getting in touch with OPPO or the place where you bought the phone and ask them if there's any other option to get into the phone using the original Google credentials. I hope she remembers this.
