How to hide icons in the app drawer

Is there a way or app that would allow me to hide certain icons I never use in the app drawer? I have the HTC Thunderbolt and using HTC Sense. I know this can be done with launchers like launcher pro, but I would prefer to continue using HTC Sense. Any way possible?

The only other option is to be rooted and use an app like Titanium or Root Explorer.

Edit: Root Explorer or Titanium for removing (not hide) unwanted apps from the drawer.

Sorry about that.. I must have read the question wrong.. that's for removing preloaded/unwanted apps off the phone.
