How to ID the Nexus LTE

Just received my Nexus 9 32G Black Nexus 9. The box has a tag saying it is WiFi + 4G LTG. Have not been able to tell if it really has 4G LTE. Does anyone know how to tell? an external card slot perhaps?

Go to https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/6102380?hl=en scroll down and click Nexus 9.

You should have a SIM slot in the area shown in the illustrations.

I doubt that it was a "mistake" - more likely a deliberate attempt to defraud.
