How to immediately cancel call on galaxy s8

I have a problem with calling people on accident lol. I will accidentally call people by swiping right on a person through the default messaging app when really I should swipe left. Anyhow, everytime I do this I have to wait until the calling screen shows up to be able to hang up. There is a slight delay from the moment I swipe right to the moment the calling screen shows up and because of this, the person on the other end gets a notification of a missed call. My question is, how do I cancel the call IMMEDIATELY so that the other person doesn't have their phone ring?

You can try setting the Power Button to end calls. That way you can press that, I think, faster than the screen.
