How to: Import your Note 2/Note 8 notes to the Note 10.1

Just in case anyone hasn't figured this one out yet you can indeed import your Note2 and Note 8.0 notes into your Note 10.1. To do so, of course, you'll need to be synching your notes with your Samsung account on both devices. Then...
1. Open S Note on your Note 10.1
2. Click Recent Notes in the upper left-hand corner
3. Click the Menu button and select Import-->Samsung Account
4. Select the Notes you want to import or choose the Select All option, then click Done

Your Note 10.1 will show "Importing" as it concentrates on the task but when it's done, Voila!

Why this is hidden this way is beyond me but at least it works!

Nice, good to know. But aren't these Notes supposed to be synced to SCloud automatically all along? I mean, I know you can turn that off, but shouldn't those be synced by default?

It would certainly be nice but the newer Note 10.1 and Note 3 won't show the older notes unless you import them.

There is a viewer in Samsung Apps, I don't remember the name, can post later. I've installed it on Note 8, works well.

Search for "New S Note Viewer" in Samsung Apps. I installed it on Note 8. When I search Apps on new 10.1, it doesn't find the app.
