im very new to this rooting thing. my phone is rooted but i do not have a recovery menu not even a stock one. and every time i try to flash one it does not work. can someone please help with me with very in depth instructions.

If you are sure you are rooted, you can just do steps 2&3 of the rooting zvh post in my signature.

From that package you can install V9, VD, or Xionia recoveries.

There is a step where it says

/system/bin/sh install-v9.sh

You can replace that with

/system/bin/sh install-xionia.sh

if you just want a custom recovery, or

/system/bin/sh install-vd.sh

if you want to have stock recovery, or

/system/bin/sh install-v9.sh

if you want to root ZVH/GingerBread.

instead of using adb will a terminal emulator work as well? and can i just copy the file to my sd card or it needs to be installed? if so i do not understand that
