How to install SuperSu?

I rooted my Lenovo A806 with towelroot. When I tried to install SuperSu, it will remove Superuser. It tells me my SU Binary needs to be updated. I click ok, and it asks me, how do I want to install it, Normal or TWRP/CWM? What do you recommend? The phone is brand new, I wanted to root it before I do anything with it. Thank you!

SuperSU won't delete superuser it will just overwrite it so superSU will be the only root app that will ask for root grants or denies and I would recommend using the normal method if it says failed then use the twrp/cwm mode ...

I tried both but I am still getting the message, that the SU binary needs to be updated. When I try, it sends me back to the same question about the installation (normal or TWRP/CWM). Any idea, why, and how to fix it? Thank you!

Try reinstalling the app or clearing the data/cache. It should work in normal if you don't have a custom recovery such as Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) or ClockWorkMod (CWM). If it still doesn't work after doing that then you might have to stick with another Root managing app like superuser. (I think that might be the only 2 root managing apps)

Well to download towelroot just type "towelroot by geohot", there is also kingo root. Depending on your device and build date towelroot might not support your device.
