How to limit pattern unlock?

In Samsung Note 8, I set fingerprint lock and it require me to set a pattern lock too. I use fingerprint to unlock 99% of the time, occasionally when I tried to unlock using fingerprint, android will ask me to unlock phone by pattern lock (if I remember it says something like for security purpose) and I unlock using pattern successfully.

I don't use pattern lock often, I want to limit the pattern unlock to 1 or 2 or 3 attempts and phone will request user to wait 10 mins for another pattern unlock attempt. How to limit pattern unlock tries and how set delay time to try pattern unlock again?

(For now, I can retry pattern unlock with wrong pattern attempt multiple times without any delay, I want to prevent this so if I lose my phone the person who picked up my phone is unable to keep trying the pattern until he got the correct pattern.)

Hi, this is default by Android, also I would change from pattern to password or pin , some people had been locked out do to pattern failure.
